Mr Timothy J. Bearden

Tim Bearden is in his 32nd year as a professional educator. During that time, he has taught at the middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate levels. He has been a teacher of English, a professor of educational leadership in Madonna University's graduate degree program, and a school administrator. Mr. Bearden currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer for Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, MI, and is responsible for all aspects of teaching and learning for pre- kindergarten through the 12th grade. Detroit Country Day School (DCDS) is one of the preeminent independent schools in the United States. At DCDS, Mr. Bearden has instituted the EPIIC model of teaching and learning - Experiential, Participatory, Image-Rich, Interdisciplinary and Connected (EPIIC). This student centered pedagogical model has resulted in significant and noteworthy gains in student achievement.
Prior to coming to DCDS, Mr. Bearden was the principal of one of the United States' best public high schools, Grosse Pointe North High School. During his time at North, the school was consistently ranked as one of Newsweek magazine's top high schools in the United States. In addition to his career as a teacher and administrator, Mr. Bearden spent eleven years as a college volleyball coach in the states, coaching several nationally ranked squads at Mott College and Wayne State University.
Mr. Bearden is a 1986 graduate of the University of Michigan (Flint), attended Wayne State University Law School, and has his M.A. in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. He lives in Beverly Hills, Michigan in the United States with his wife, children (when they are not away at university), and dog Oakley.

Dr Josep Cañabate-Pérez

Josep Cañabate’s own research interests are in the area of privacy, law and technology, IT Governance and legal history. He holds a law degree, a LL.M. and Ph. D. from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he teaches Constitutional History and Comparative Law. He has served as Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley, University of Münster, Fordham Law School (NYC) and University of Edinbugh. Josep is also Board Member, Secretary at ISACA Barcelona, Professor at OBS Business School, Board Member of OBCIBED (Cyber security Observatory for Cyber Security, Rights and Freedom – ICPS-UAB, Certified Information System Auditor and Professor of the Master of Digital Law and Information Society at the University of Barcelona (Spain).

Prof. Kim N. Irvine

Kim Irvine is currently a Cluster Leader with the Environmental Process Modelling Centre (EPMC) of the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Education, (NIE), Singapore. Previously, he had been a Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning, Buffalo State, State University of New York and Director of the Center for Southeast Asia Environment and Sustainable Development among other professional positions.
Dr. Irvine’s research is applied in nature and focuses on hydrologic process modelling, identifying and quantifying pollutant sources and pathways at the watershed scale, sustainable urban waterscapes, site characterization (physical, chemical, biological) for habitat remediation, and spatial analysis of environmental indicators. This work has included a combination of sampling, long term automated monitoring, and mathematical modelling, particularly as they relate to contaminant mass balance budgeting within a watershed and water sensitive urban design for more resilient and liveable cities. The research has an international scope with projects being conducted in Canada, the U.S., Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Japan.
Dr. Irvine is a strong advocate of capacity-building efforts within developing countries and his group has provided a number of training workshops in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, on water quality analysis, GIS applications, and urban water management modelling, with participants coming from universities, government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector.
Dr. Irvine was awarded the New York Water Environment Association, Environmental Science Award in 2013. He currently holds a Bualuang ASEAN Fellowship at Thammasat University in Thailand to conduct research on enhancing implementation of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) in tropical cities.

Mr Josep Menéndez

Pepe is an Expert Advisor in Educational Change. He was working at Fundació Jesuïtes Educació from 2009 to 2017 as a Deputy Manager, promoting the project of Educational Transformation “Horitzó 2020”. He is a consultant of educational institutions and Governments in Europe And Latin America. He puts major emphasis on successfully reforming the financial area and establishing solid foundations for the development of school departments.
Mr Menéndez has established close working relationships with educative and social agents to raise standards. He also promoted special programmes to integrate disabled students into regular education and has managed the project of the new Center of Technologies for ICT Education (CETEI) from its initial conception.

Fr Dr Fernando Millan Romeral, O Carm

Fernando Millan is currently holding the highest rank in the Carmelite Order. He lives in Rome but is constantly travelling to visit all the regions throughout the world, especially those located in poor areas. He is a people’s person, enthusiastic and very committed to his responsibilities.
He was ordained a priest in 1989 and spent a number of years at the St. Albert’s International Centre in Rome (CISA) and obtained a doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University with a thesis on the theology of penance of Fr. Bartolomé Xiberta.
Returning to Spain, he taught as an Ordinary Professor of Sacraments in the Theology Faculty in the Pontifical Comillas University beginning in February 1995. He taught as an guest professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University and gave courses in a number of other universities as well.
He was elected Prior General of the Carmelite Order at the 2007 General Chapter in Sassone, Rome and was re-elected to serve for the second term 2013-2019 at the General Chapter 2013.

Keith Nelson is one of the UK’s leading coaches and coach trainers, working with CEOs, directors and senior managers nationally and internationally across a variety of business sectors.
Mr Nelson is managing director of Your Total Coach, which provides organizational development services, coaching and coaching training and he is also founder of coaching qualifications training at Cambridge University.
In his executive coaching practice Keith is currently working with clients from the business world including, health, education, finance, marketing, engineering, retail and housing. He has trained many hundreds of clients to coach from the public, private and voluntary sector.

Mr Johan Rapp

Johan Rapp was a Principal for 15 years, the head of a forensic psychiatric clinic, an HR-manager and now he is the director of three recovery clinics for young people with addiction issues. Johan has been working with people his whole life and he has developed the skills to resolve conflicts with all parties feeling respected and understanding of the outcomes and consequences. By creating positive connections and productive dialogues, Johan believes we can all help people become the person they want to be.

Bob has been the managing partner of the law firm Riley & Hurley PC since 1994. He represents individuals, corporations, healthcare institutions and lawyers/law firms in transactions and complex litigation. In addition, the firm has a specialized practice involving professional and amateur sports, athletes and their unions in collective bargaining, grievances and contract arbitration.Bob has served as an independent mediator, facilitator and arbitrator in hundreds of civil matters.
